Robert Harrington

MD - Tech & Crypto Equities - In public & private mkts

Robert Harrington is Head of Crypto & Digital Assets and Managing Director within the Equities business at Cantor Fitzgerald, based in New York. He launched Cantor's Crypto and Bitcoin franchise approximately five years ago, with an initial focus on the Bitcoin ecosystem and mining. Over the past three years he has led the expansion of the franchise across Crypto, FinTech, and AI Infrastructure. He works directly with Cantor's Co-CEOs Pascal Bandelier, Sage Kelly, and Christian Wall, as well as Chairman Brandon Lutnick.

Earlier in his career, Harrington spent 12 years as a senior technology equity analyst on the buy side in both the US and Europe. He previously served as Co-Head of Global Technology Product at Credit Suisse, as part of Frank Quattrone's technology investment banking team. Prior to Cantor, he held the role of Software Equity Franchise Head at Guggenheim Partners from April 2018 to October 2019, and before that was a Senior Global Technology Analyst at Sapinda Invest. He has also held technology, media, and telecoms analyst roles at Espalier Global Management and Jabre Capital Partners, and earlier in his career worked as a Technology Research Trader at SAC Capital and as a Software, Services, and Communications Analyst at Galleon Group. He holds a B.A. from the University of Oxford, which he completed in 1998.
