Jonas Gantenbein

Head of Digital Assets

Jonas Gantenbein is Head of Digital Assets at Bank Frick & Co. AG, a position he has held since September 2023. In this role, he is responsible for DLT systems management, product development, and innovation management of DLT products, infrastructures, and systems. A recent initiative under his remit includes Bank Frick's Sponsored Access to RULEMATCH, providing institutional clients with low-latency execution and a regulated crypto trading framework.

Gantenbein joined Bank Frick in November 2019 as a Project Developer Blockchain, before progressing to Relationship Manager Blockchain Banking in July 2021 and Senior Relationship Manager Blockchain Banking in March 2022, a role he held until his appointment as Head of Digital Assets. Prior to Bank Frick, he worked at AREVA Allgemeine Revisions- und Treuhand Aktiengesellschaft in Liechtenstein, where he held roles in blockchain and fintech project management from November 2018 to October 2019, and earlier as an Assistant Auditor from March 2014 to September 2016. He participated in Liechtenstein's first blockchain certificate programme before joining Bank Frick. He holds a BSc in Banking and Finance from the University of Liechtenstein and an MSc in Corporate Development from the University of Applied Sciences, St. Gallen, which he completed on a part-time basis while working at Bank Frick.
